A different kind of adventure...

I've just bought a 1967 Vespa to restore... now I know this isn't really travel, but once it is up and running, I hope to be able to join Sam on her other scooter and we can go out together!

The bike looked like this when it was recovered from a barn...

But before long I hope to have it transformed into original condition... It will be stripped down completely and rebuilt from the bottom up. I'll post up some new pictures of it soon when it's starting to look more like a scooter again (it's a box of bits at the moment!)
